Remain stopped until the vehicle passes or an officer directs movement. Continuing in the right lane is not enough unless the vehicle is safely positioned and stopped. Pulling toward the center line can obstruct the emergency path. A driver should also listen for additional emergency vehicles and avoid blocking a side road or driveway.
