The short version

Why QualitySpace exists

Westminster has the largest Vietnamese-American population in the country, and most of the insurance agents serving it are captive (State Farm, Allstate, Farmers when you go direct) and English-only at the desk. That combination produces predictable problems: families end up at the wrong carrier for their profile, paying more than necessary; SR-22 and AB60 cases get routed to brokers who don't actually file those forms; multi-generational households get rated as if everyone drives every car; and important policy language gets lost between English documents and Vietnamese conversations.

I built QualitySpace as the alternative: an independent broker (not captive) with nine California carrier appointments, a bilingual practice from day one, and an intake process that takes the household tree seriously. Every quote gets at least three carriers compared. Documents go out in English, but the conversation about them happens in whichever language your household prefers, including reading the dec page line by line.

License and credentials

What I'm licensed to do

California Department of Insurance Producer License #4037122 is public record and verifiable on the CDI website. The license covers Property and Casualty, Life-Only Agent, and Accident and Health, so I can write auto, home, life, and health under one license number. For New Jersey and Pennsylvania, my partner producer Sean Vu (Allstate) handles the binding under his own NJ and PA licenses.

How an intake actually goes

The process from call to bound policy

  1. The first call. Usually 15 to 30 minutes. We map your household tree: every adult, every teen with a permit, every vehicle, who lives at what address, who has what license type (regular, AB60, out-of-state, none yet). For SR-22 or AB60 cases, bring the DMV Order to Comply and your license number.
  2. Shop the case.I run quotes across three or more of the nine carriers we're appointed with, based on which actually accept your profile. Standard cases shop fast (Mercury, Progressive, Travelers). Non-standard cases (SR-22, AB60, recent at-fault) take a bit longer because Bristol West, Aspire General, and Kemper each have their own appetite quirks.
  3. Walk through the quote.Side-by-side comparison. I explain what moves the premium, what the deductibles mean, where I'd push back on the defaults. You choose. I don't upsell.
  4. Bind. Same day for most California auto cases when you call during business hours. SR-22 filing electronically lands at DMV within 2 to 5 business days. Homeowners takes a few business days because carriers run replacement-cost estimators.
  5. Ongoing service.Renewal reminders, mid-term re-shops when life events justify it (marriage, new car, teen aging in, lapse risk), claims coordination so you're not navigating the carrier alone.

What I won't do

The promises in plain language

  • No upsell games. If term life makes sense for your household, I write term. I don't pivot to IUL because the commission is higher.
  • No carrier-by-loyalty pitch.I'm an independent broker, not a captive agent. The carrier we place with depends on which one fits your specific profile, not which one I'm partial to.
  • No misrepresentation. AB60 status, household drivers, garaging address all get disclosed truthfully. Hiding them produces denied claims, which is the worst outcome possible for the client.
  • No incentivized reviews.Per Google policy and FTC rules, I don't offer anything in exchange for reviews. If you'd like to leave one, please do — see how to leave a review.

The Vietnamese-language version of this practice lives at baohiemxe.com. Same office, same broker, same license, same nine carriers. If your household is more comfortable reading and conversing in Vietnamese, that's the better starting point.
