The $41.25 figure is listed for some license transactions, not testing, while $75.00 is a reinstatement fee for certain nonalcohol offenses. A useful DMV counter cue is to separate testing charges from licensing charges before choosing a number. The examiner needs a controlled seating area and an undistracted driver while evaluating vehicle control, lane use, turns, parking, stopping, and other skills. Before arriving, the applicant should arrange for everyone except the examiner and driver to remain outside the test vehicle.
