What to bring to the Vermont permit test

Who this checklist covers: First standard non-REAL-ID learner permit for Vermont-resident U.S. citizens age 15 or older with an assigned SSN, including minors and adults. Covers the online knowledge exam and separate initial permit application. Nonresident driver-education students, noncitizen routes, REAL ID and Enhanced credentials are excluded.

Bring originals unless the official list says copies are accepted. Items marked Under 18 apply only to minors.
